Coach Sergio Gilliam received his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and is currently earning his Master’s in Special Education from Arizona State University. He has been teaching at Pinnacle for the past two years. Coach Gilliam is part of the football program and was a part of the State Runner-Up Championship in '22. He also coached the first-year girls' flag football program to a (9-1) District Runner-Up Championship. 

Coach Gilliam coached our Freshman girl's basketball team to an undefeated season last year going (15-0). This year he will take over the duties of coaching the JV girls’ basketball team and is hoping for another successful season. 

Coach Gilliam has a daughter named Violet who is 8 years old. He enjoys spending time with his daughter, friends, and family. When he is not coaching, he enjoys watching sports and rooting for all CLEMSON TIGERS’ athletics!
